Após muitos anos procurando pelos músicos certos, o guitarrista e vocalista
LEON MANSSUR “NECROMANIAC” funda a banda em 1998. Ela reflete sua
experiência de 25 anos na cena, incluindo o repertório próprio acumulado entre
1985 e 1998, que a partir de então vem tendo registro.

A primeira gravação foi uma demo-ensaio independente em 1999.
Faixas dela apareceram em algumas coletâneas (Planet Metal, In Search of
Weird Truth e Thrashing Rage, todas esgotadas) e no hoje raro compacto
em vinil Maximum Metal Mayhem, pela gravadora Iron Bonehead,
da Alemanha, em 2001.

O primeiro álbum "ONLY DEATH IS REAL..." foi gravado em 2000 e
lançado em CD pela Demise e em LP pela Dies Irae em 2002. Esgotado, foi
re-prensado pela Unsilent Records em 2007 com bonus tracks da demo de 1999.
Ao todo, foram 3.000 cópias vendidas, e em breve será reprensado em LP pela
gravadora americana Hell's Headbangers. No lançamento, em 2000, a banda
abriu o primeiro show do Krisiun no Rio de Janeiro, para um público de
aproximadamente 1.000 pessoas.

Em 2001, o jovem baterista do FARSCAPE, PEDRO ROCHA "SKULLKRUSHER",
juntou-se à banda, e assim fizeram shows nos 4 estados do sudeste, ao lado de
FARSCAPE e DOMINUS PRAELLI, além de abrir para
o guitarrista alemão FRANK BLACKFIRE (SODOM, KREATOR) ,
com um público médio de 500 pessoas.

Entre 2002 e 2003, a banda se profissionalizou, e produziu com recursos próprios
o segundo álbum "THE RETURN OF THE SATANIC RITES", lançado em CD e LP
em 2003 pela Dark Sun, e em cassete pela gravadora Time Before Time da Polônia.
Esgotado, foi re-prensado em CD pela Unsilent Recordes em 2008. Assim como seu
antecessor, o álbum vendeu 3.000 cópias e será reprensado em LP pela gravadora
americana Hell's Headbangers.

Seguiram-se mais shows. Produziram o show da volta de VULCANO e CHAKAL
no Rio, para um público de quase 1.000 pessoas, e tocaram em mais de 10 eventos, com
média de púiblico entre 500 e 1.500 pessoas, dos quais os mais relevantes foram ao
lado de HEADHUNTER D.C., MAUSOLEUM, FARSCAPE, FLAGELADÖR.
A banda passou o ano de 2004 preparando o repertório do terceiro álbum, mas no fim
do ano o primeiro baixista A. AGUINAGA "SUB UMBRA" é substituído por
VINÍCIUS CANABARRO "HELLPREACHER". Voltam a São Paulo e tocam
novamente com VULCANO.

Em 2005 produziram e lançaram "THE THIRD STORM - WORLD WAR III"
em CD e LP pela Dark Sun.

Em 2006, organizaram e tocaram no SLAUGHTER FESTIVAL 2, no Rio de Janeiro, que
teve a participação de 10 das mais releventes bandas do estilo, incluido COMANDO
NUCLEAR, SODOMIZER, BLASTHRASH, WARDEATH e OVERLORD (Paraguai).
Tocaram com o MYSTIFIER no Rio,além de mais de 10 outros shows já como atração
principal em SP, RJ, ES, MG e DF, para platéias variando de 500 a 2.000 pessoas.

Em 2007, abriram novamente para o KRISIUN, dessa vez ao lado do
TORTURE SQUAD. No meio do ano, SKULLKRUSHER é substituído por
MÁRCIO CATIVEIRO 'SLAUGHTERER', cumprindo a agenda de shows com
OCULTAN, COMANDO NUCLEAR e AGATHOCLES.

No início de 2008, coroando 10 anos de atividades, aconteceu a primeira tour brasileira,
e foi em conjunto com o FARSCAPE. Foram 14 shows pelas 5 regiões do Brasil em 50 dias;
nesta tour VICTOR VASCONCELLOS 'WHIPSTRIKER' do FARSCAPEtocou o baixo
e HUGO GOLON do SIDE EFFECTSa bateria - ambos fizeram o mesmo papel nas
apresentações brasileiras e no DVD do TOXIC HOLOCAUST.

Em 2008, depois da tour, a agenda de shows passou a ser mais intensa.
NECROMANIAC, HELLPREACHER e SLAUGHTERER tocaram para
1.000 pagantes na seletiva do WACKEN no Rio, além de Cuiabá-MT (por 3 horas!),
do Roça’n’Roll em Varginha-MG, e abriram para o POSSESSED em SP.
Estes 2 últimos eventos contaram com mais de 3.000 pessoas.

Em 2009, paralelamente a mais shows em RJ (com FARSCAPE e MATANZA)
e SP (interior e capital), produziram o quarto álbum, entitulado "VOL. 4 - PHONOCOPIA" ,
assim como uma série de splits com bandas internacionais, enquanto buscam parcerias e
planejam a próxima tour, que poderá incluir alguns países sul-smericanos...

After many years looking for the right musicians, LEON MANSSUR
“NECROMANIAC”, guitar and vocals, starts the band in 1998.
It reflects his 25 year experience in the scene, including own songs
from 1985 to 1998, that have been recorded since.

The first recording was a self-financed rehearsal-demo in 1999.
Tracks from it appeared in some samplers (Planet Metal magazine,
In search of Weird Truth tape from Japan and Thrashing Rage CD-R
from Germany, all sold out) and in the sold-out 7"EP MAXIMUM
METAL MAYHEM, on Iron Bonehead from Germany, in 2001.

First album "ONLY DEATH IS REAL..." was recorded in 2000 and
released on CD by Demise Records and LP by Dies Irae in 2001.
They were sold out and re-pressed on CD by Unsilent Records in 2007,
with demo bonus tracks. In all, it was 3.000 copies sold, and soon
will follow an LP re-press on Hell's Headbangers (USA).
On the album's release in 2000 they opened Krisiun's first gig
in Rio, for 1.000 people audience.

In 2001, young Thrash Metal drummer PEDRO ROCHA, a.k.a.
"SKULLKRUSHER" from FARSCAPE joins the band.
Following this, they played some gigs in the 4 states of
southeastern of Brazil, including opening to FRANK BLACKFIRE
(SODOM, KREATOR), and also side by side
with FARSCAPE and DOMINUS PRAELLI,
to a mean audience of 500 people.

In 2002 and 2003, the band went pro and produced and released
the second full-lenght "THE RETURN OF THE SATANIC RITES"
on CD and LP on Dark Sun and on cassette on Time Before Time
from Poland, all sold out. There was a re-press on Unsilent Records
in 2008. Just like its predecessor, the album sold 3.000 copies
and will be re-pressed on LP by Hell's Headbangers.

More gigs followed. They produced and played the comeback gig of
VULCANO and CHAKAL in Rio, for an audience of
1.000 people, and played in more than 10 events, for audiences
ranging from 500 to 1.500 people, some of the most relevant being
with HEADHUNTER D.C., MAUSOLEUM, FARSCAPE, FLAGELADOR.
The year 2004 was spent in composition for the third album,
but in the end of the year VINÍCIUS CANABARRO "HELLPREACHER"
replaces the first bass player A. AGUINAGA "SUB UMBRA"
and then they play again in São Paulo opening to VULCANO.

In 2005 they produced and released "THE THIRD STORM - WORLD WAR III"
on Dark Sun Label CD and LP.

In 2006, they have organized and played on SLAUGHTER FESTIVAL 2,
in Rio de Janeiro, which included 10 of the most relevant bands in the
scene, like COMANDO NUCLEAR, SODOMIZER, BLASTHRASH,
WARDEATH and OVERLORD (Paraguay). They played with MYSTIFIER
in Rio, and more than 10 gigs as headliners in many cities in the 4 states of
Southeastern Brazil as well as in the capital Brasília in middle Brazil,
to crowds that went from 500 to 2.000 people.

In 2007, they were guests opening to KRISIUN again, this time with
TORTURE SQUAD. In the middle of the year, drummer SKULLKRUSHER
is replaced by MÁRCIO CATIVEIRO "SLAUGHTERER", for scheduled gigs
with OCULTAN, COMANDO NUCLEAR and AGATHOCLES.

In the beginning of 2008, the first brazilian tour celebrated 10 years of
activities. It was a joint effort with FARSCAPE. There were 14 dates
on every region of continent-sized Brazil in 50 days. In this tour VICTOR
VASCONCELLOS "WHIPSTRIKER" played the bass and
HUGO GOLON the drums.

In the same year, after the tour, the gig schedule became more intense.
NECROMANIAC, HELLPREACHER and SLAUGHTERER played
to 1.000 people in the WACKEN selection in Rio, in Mato Grosso state
(1 and 1/2 day road trip and a 3 hour gig - a record!), at Roça'n'Roll Open Ain
in Minas Gerais state, and opened to POSSESSED in São Paulo. The latter
two were attended by more than 3.000 people each.

In 2009, while doing more gigs in Rio (one with FARSCAPE, other with
MATANZA) and in São Paulo (2 times countryside and 1 on the capital),
they have produced the fourth album, entitled "VOL. 4 - PHONOCOPIA" ,
as well as some splits with bands from all over the world. This releases will
be on partnership with some international labels. Now they got some
endorsements, while preparing the next tour, which can include some south
american countries.
